Standard Membership: The full package. Become a full-fledged member of the Aikido club! Gradings are included in the price, as well as social attendance, discounts on events held throughout the year, and all benefits entailed in joining the aikido club. Members with Standard membership will be able to run for positions on the committee, and order extra equipment through the club's suppliers.
Recreational Membership: Want to make Aikido a part of your life, but don't quite have the time to dedicate yourself to the club? This membership option will allow for you to attend our two sessions during the weekend, as well as socials. Gradings can be attended at an additional fee of £5 per grading. Members with recreational membership will be able to run for positions on the committee, and order extra equipment through the club's supplier.
Hobby Membership: On request of members from last year, our hobby membership option is for those that find their weekends impossibly busy. This membership will allow you to attend our Thursday sessions, as well as socials, and gradings for an extra £10 per grading. Members with hobby membership will be able to order extra equipment through the club's supplier.
*** If you wish to upgrade your membership at any point during the year, feel free to contact a member of the committee via the club's email, email@example.com, in order to facilitate the upgrade. Upgrading one's membership will not incur any expenses beyond paying the extra money required to make up the difference between a member's current membership and the new, upgraded membership.
Data useage: In order to allow you to receive alumni communications, such as alumni newsletters, from your sports club following your graduation, the information on which Saints Sport club(s) you have joined will be shared with Alumni Relations, Development, and kept on your alumni record in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 (https://sparc.st-andrews.ac.uk/giving/your-data).
