Semester 1: Thursdays, 10.00 am  - 12.00 noon commencing on 19th October 2017

 

19 October 2017 - Introduction talk and presentation at Students Union, Rehearsal Room, 2nd Floor

26 October 2017 - Meet at Swinkie Muir near Kingsbarns to look at WW2 training grounds and ancient Danish fortifcations.

2 November 2017 - Meet at Arncroach to look at the 17th Century castle and standing stone.

9 November 2017 - Meet at Arncroach to look at the hidden track ways, and forgotten rural links.

16 November 2017 - Meet at Arncroach to look at lost rural industrial sites.

23 November 2017 - Meet Arncroach to look at the interpretation of an historic landscape and how it works with today’s modern farming practices.

30 November - Meet at Arncroach to examine metal detection fnds, old maps and other clues to man’s life and the impact on the land.

7 December 2017 - Meet near Craigloun to look at a Knights Templar site and its associated commercial workings.  

 

Fees are payable at standard or concessionary rate
